when i first heard about the idea to have a protest festival in woomera i really wanted to go there. as i am from europe and because i am really afraid i would end up upside down after traveling for ages, i rather decided to build the viryual peole smuggler. for someone involved in struggles for the freedom of movemnt and settlement the current political dicourses around the subject of immigration are both intresting and frightening. therfore i hope to be able to support those who are struggeling against racist policies of exclusion and at the same time want to create stronger links between the struggles in australia and over here in europe. so much for now...
