16.Oct.02 - today activists of the Bologna Social Forum and the Disobbedienti have occupied an empty railway workers home in Bologna in order to transform it into an international migrants welcome center. ['Scalo internazionale migranti']. As a practical act of disobedience against the new italian immigration regulation [bossi-fini-law] this place can house up to 60 persons and is meant to offer migrants the possibility of taking their lives into their own hands instead of being forced into the system of Centri di Permanenza Temporanea [detention centers for temporary migrants]
